Welcome. Here are some pictures we like from our trip to China, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia and Japan in September 2002. Thanks for visiting. Enjoy them.

We were in China, driving along the Red River bound for the Vietnam border, when we came upon these fellows unloading bananas right off the boat.

All across southwest China, the ethnic minorities wear colorful clothing unique to their tribe.

As we drove along the road to Angkor Wat in Cambodia we stopped to visit these guys in their metal shop.

This lady was the proprietor of a soft drink stand made from thatch where we took a break during a hike through the Tavan valley in Vietnam.

We had to stop while they paced traffic through road construction on a mountain road in Vietnam. These girls sold drinks.

The rice harvest is on during our walk through the Tavan valley, Vietnam.

Some of the most spectacular rice terraces in the world - That's what brought us to Yuanyang, China.

In the town center, Yuanyang, Yunnan province, China.

Same. We took a few big bottles of Chinese beer and planted ourselves in the middle of town all afternoon, and just watched.

Last day before coming home. National sumo championships in Tokyo.

Hope you enjoyed them.
