Cebuano in a voice-over brief

Cebuano, also called Bisaya, is spoken across the Visayas and much of Mindanao in the Philippines. It is a language in its own right, written in Latin letters, with vocabulary and grammar that differ from Tagalog. Regional ads, radio programmes and public information often favour it because audiences feel addressed directly. Speakers mix in English, especially in business. In the brief we ask the region, the formality of the register and which English words stay, then a native reviewer checks the text.

  1. Not Tagalog

Cebuano is a separate language, not a Tagalog dialect.

  3. Regional variation

    Speech varies by island.

How we work

  1. Casting

We shortlist voices for your language, audience and tone, and explain the difference between them. You choose, and approve a written quote.

  2. Direction

A director runs the session against your brief: meaning, pace and every agreed pronunciation. You can listen in remotely.

  3. Delivery

Every file is checked against the script word by word and technically, then delivered in your format and naming.

What decides the price

No price list: every quote is written for your project and states usage and the delivery date.
