Flemish voice-over
Native Flemish voice actors for audiences in Belgium, cast and directed by our team. You hear samples on request and approve a written quote before anything is recorded.
Real human voices

Real human voices
Every voice is a professional actor in a booth. No synthetic voices.
- Native
Their first language
Cast from speakers who grew up with the language your audience speaks.
- Directed
A director on every line
We listen for meaning, pace and pronunciation in the session, not after it.
Flemish voices
No public Flemish demos yet. We record samples on your own lines instead.
Samples on your own lines
Send a few lines of your script and we come back with Flemish voices reading them.
Tell us about your projectWhat Flemish voice-over is hired for
Flanders
The Dutch-speaking north of Belgium, where a Flemish voice sounds local and a Netherlands voice sounds foreign.
Brussels
A bilingual city: campaigns that reach Brussels usually run in Flemish and in French.
Typical projects
- Brands entering Belgium after a launch in the Netherlands
- Retailers and banks with a Flemish and a French version of every spot
- Public bodies and associations informing Flemish citizens
- Learning teams training staff at Belgian sites
Accent and direction notes
What our director listens for in a Flemish session.
The soft g
Flemish speakers say g and ch further forward and softer than most speakers in the Netherlands. A Flemish listener hears the difference in the first word that contains one.
Belgian vocabulary
Everyday words differ: klantendienst rather than klantenservice, gsm rather than mobiel. A Netherlands script needs a Flemish pass before recording.
Standard or colloquial
Advertising and corporate films normally use Standard Dutch with Flemish pronunciation. Colloquial Flemish (tussentaal) only fits when the brand already speaks that way.
What casting decides in Flemish
Flemish, Netherlands Dutch or both
For Belgium, cast Flemish. If the same film runs in the Netherlands too, two voices sound right in both markets.
U or je
Flemish brands lean more formal than many Dutch brands. The address form in your copy guides the voice we shortlist.
Paired with French
When Belgium needs a French version as well, we cast both voices together so the two versions match in tone and timing.
How we work
Casting
We shortlist voices for your language, audience and tone, and explain the difference between them. You choose, and approve a written quote.
Direction
A director runs the session against your brief: meaning, pace and every agreed pronunciation. You can listen in remotely.
Delivery
Every file is checked against the script word by word and technically, then delivered in your format and naming.
What decides the price
No price list: every quote is written for your project and states usage and the delivery date.

Flemish voice-over questions
Can I use a Dutch voice from the Netherlands for Belgium?
Listeners in Flanders understand it but hear it as foreign. For anything customer-facing in Belgium, a Flemish voice is the safer choice.
Is Flemish a separate language from Dutch?
No. Flemish is Dutch as spoken in Belgium, with its own pronunciation and some of its own vocabulary. Written Standard Dutch is shared.
Can you adapt our Netherlands Dutch script for Flanders?
We flag the words and forms that sound Dutch rather than Flemish before recording, so you can approve the changes.
