Turkmen in a voice-over brief

Turkmen is a Turkic language written in a Latin-based alphabet in Turkmenistan, with other scripts used by communities in Iran and Afghanistan. Its suffixes follow vowel harmony, which means a translated script must be checked by a native reader. Russian words still appear in business vocabulary. The pool of trained voices is small, so we start by confirming who is available. For the brief we ask about the audience, the register and whether any Russian terms should be kept.

How we work

  1. Casting

We shortlist voices for your language, audience and tone, and explain the difference between them. You choose, and approve a written quote.

  2. Direction

A director runs the session against your brief: meaning, pace and every agreed pronunciation. You can listen in remotely.

  3. Delivery

Every file is checked against the script word by word and technically, then delivered in your format and naming.

What decides the price

No price list: every quote is written for your project and states usage and the delivery date.
