Real human voices

  1. Human

    Real human voices

Every voice is a professional actor in a booth. No synthetic voices.

  2. Native

    Their first language

Cast from speakers who grew up with the language your audience speaks.

  3. Directed

    A director on every line

We listen for meaning, pace and pronunciation in the session, not after it.

Albanian voices

No public Albanian demos yet. We record samples on your own lines instead.

Samples on your own lines

What Albanian voice-over is hired for

  • Albania

The standard language, based on Tosk, is used in media and education.

  • Kosovo

Speakers of Gheg use the standard in formal settings with a recognisable accent.

  • The diaspora

Communities in Italy, Greece, Switzerland and the US are reached with a familiar voice.

Typical projects

  • Banks, telecoms and retailers
  • Public bodies and NGOs
  • Brands targeting the diaspora
  • Learning teams

Accent and direction notes

What our director listens for in a Albanian session.

  1. Gheg and Tosk

The two dialect groups differ in sound and some vocabulary. Standard Albanian leans on Tosk.

  2. Case endings

Nouns carry definite endings that change with the sentence. Translated scripts need a native pass.

  3. Foreign brand names

A pronunciation list settles whether Italian, English or Albanian forms are said.

What casting decides in Albanian

  • Albania, Kosovo or diaspora

The accent and references change with the audience.

  • Formal or familiar

Public notices are formal; retail is friendlier.

How we work

  1. Casting

We shortlist voices for your language, audience and tone, and explain the difference between them. You choose, and approve a written quote.

  2. Direction

A director runs the session against your brief: meaning, pace and every agreed pronunciation. You can listen in remotely.

  3. Delivery

Every file is checked against the script word by word and technically, then delivered in your format and naming.

What decides the price

No price list: every quote is written for your project and states usage and the delivery date.

Length
Word count or running time of the finished audio.
Use and territory
Internal, online or broadcast; where it runs and for how long.
Voice
Some languages and voice profiles are scarcer than others.
Picture and files
Recording to timecode, splitting and naming add work.
