Kinyarwanda in a voice-over brief

Kinyarwanda is the national language of Rwanda and is spoken by almost the whole population, which makes it unusual in Africa. It is a tonal Bantu language with prefixes that agree across a sentence, and it is closely related to Kirundi in neighbouring Burundi. English and French are used in business and administration, so scripts often include terms from both. For a recording we agree the register, check the text with a native reader and note how names and borrowed words should be said.

How we work

  1. Casting

We shortlist voices for your language, audience and tone, and explain the difference between them. You choose, and approve a written quote.

  2. Direction

A director runs the session against your brief: meaning, pace and every agreed pronunciation. You can listen in remotely.

  3. Delivery

Every file is checked against the script word by word and technically, then delivered in your format and naming.

What decides the price

No price list: every quote is written for your project and states usage and the delivery date.
