Slovenian in a voice-over brief

Slovenian is a South Slavic language with a dual number, a grammatical form for exactly two things, which translated scripts often get wrong. It has a large number of dialects, but a standard form is used in broadcast and public life. Its pitch accent and long and short vowels shape how a line sounds. Tourism, manufacturing and public services are typical clients. We check the dual, case endings and stress with a native reviewer and agree how foreign brand names should be said.

How we work

  1. Casting

We shortlist voices for your language, audience and tone, and explain the difference between them. You choose, and approve a written quote.

  2. Direction

A director runs the session against your brief: meaning, pace and every agreed pronunciation. You can listen in remotely.

  3. Delivery

Every file is checked against the script word by word and technically, then delivered in your format and naming.

What decides the price

No price list: every quote is written for your project and states usage and the delivery date.
