Valencian in a voice-over brief
Valencian is the name used in the Valencian Community for the language also called Catalan. The Valencian language academy sets a standard that is close to written Catalan, with its own spelling forms and pronunciations. Regional institutions publish in Valencian. A brief states the register, whether the text follows the local standard and whether a Spanish version will also be recorded.

Sounds and forms
Pronunciation and some verb forms differ from Central Catalan.
Local words

Local audiences expect Valencian; a Barcelona voice can sound distant.

How we work
Casting
We shortlist voices for your language, audience and tone, and explain the difference between them. You choose, and approve a written quote.
Direction
A director runs the session against your brief: meaning, pace and every agreed pronunciation. You can listen in remotely.
Delivery
Every file is checked against the script word by word and technically, then delivered in your format and naming.
What decides the price
No price list: every quote is written for your project and states usage and the delivery date.

Linguistically it is closely related; locally it carries its own name and standard. We follow your preference.
