Odia in a voice-over brief

Odia is the language of Odisha in eastern India and has a rounded script of its own, developed on palm leaf. It is related to Bengali and Assamese but distinct from both, with its own sounds and vocabulary. Public information, health and development campaigns are frequent uses, and rural audiences respond to a clear, unhurried read. In the brief we ask for the region of the audience, the register and whether Hindi or English versions will follow, then a native reviewer checks the script.

How we work

  1. Casting

We shortlist voices for your language, audience and tone, and explain the difference between them. You choose, and approve a written quote.

  2. Direction

A director runs the session against your brief: meaning, pace and every agreed pronunciation. You can listen in remotely.

  3. Delivery

Every file is checked against the script word by word and technically, then delivered in your format and naming.

What decides the price

No price list: every quote is written for your project and states usage and the delivery date.
