Most of our clients arrive for voice and discover they also need the video around it handled. A film that has to work in nine markets is not nine exports, it is nine versions, each with its own audio, its own on-screen text and its own duration once the language changes the timing.

This is the part of the studio that handles picture rather than sound, and it exists mainly so that a multi-market project does not have to be split between two suppliers who never speak to each other.

What sits under video

• Editing and re-editing, including cut-downs and platform versions

• Visual effects, clean-up and compositing
• On-screen text localisation across languages

Where video and audio meet

The most common failure in international video is a mismatch between the two. The German voice over is 20 percent longer than the English, so it either runs over the shot or is rushed. The on-screen text was translated but never re-laid out, so it overflows the box. Both are cheap to prevent and expensive to fix after delivery.

Because we handle the voice and the picture together, we catch these at the planning stage, before anything is recorded or rendered.

Working from your existing material

You do not need us to have made the original. Send the project files or the master and we will produce the versions you need from what already exists.
