Hungarian voice over, where the grammar attaches to your brand

Hungarian is not related to the languages around it. It is Finno-Ugric, and it builds meaning by adding suffixes to the end of words rather than using separate prepositions. "In the car", "from the car" and "with the car" are each one word.

That applies to your brand name too. In natural Hungarian a product name takes suffixes, and the form of the suffix depends on the vowels in the name, a rule called vowel harmony. Foreign names often get a hyphen before the suffix, and which vowel follows can depend on how the name is pronounced rather than how it is spelled. It is exactly the kind of detail a translator decides quickly and a brand team later objects to, so we settle it before the session.

Long words and fixed durations

Agglutination produces long words, and Hungarian scripts frequently run longer than the English source. Stress always falls on the first syllable, which gives Hungarian a steady, falling rhythm that does not tolerate being rushed. When the duration is fixed, the answer is adaptation at translation stage, not a faster read.

Te or ön

Hungarian has informal te and formal ön, along with softer in-between forms. Consumer advertising has moved strongly toward te, and many brands now use it by default. Financial services, public sector, healthcare and older audiences still often expect ön. The choice runs through every verb, so it has to be made once and held across the whole campaign.
